A paved cycle path along a former railway from Trstená to Nowy Targ in Poland, with gentle climbs and views of the Tatras. From Zuberec or Habovka, join it at Vitanová, riding via Oravice.

Difficulty
From Habovka or Zuberec over the Borek saddle, the only proper climb, to Oravice with its thermal pools, then gently downhill via Vitanová to Trstená. Back via Tvrdošín, Podbiel and Oravský Biely Potok.

Machy lookout tower
Difficulty
A demanding ride up to the lookout tower above Zuberec, with a steep climb that will test even experienced riders. At the top you are rewarded with benches and a view of the Roháče. Not suitable for families with children.

Skorušina lookout tower
Difficulty
The highest peak of the Skorušina Hills, with a steel lookout tower, shelter and fire pit. From the top you can see the Roháče ridge, the Orava reservoir and Babia hora. The shortest access is from Oravice.
